Founded in 1970 by John W. Barger, Master Plater and Metal Polisher, Frankford Plating Inc. has provided metal finishing services for over 50-years in industrial, custom and decorative applications. Our customer base and market has grown to include local, national and international clients.

Frankford Plating, Inc.'s renowned reputation for quality workmanship was built on the belief that, "The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten." To this day, our personal service, accountability, attention to detail, experience and use of the finest quality materials continues to produce an excellent metal finish.

John Barger, President and CEO, with son Jonathan Barger, VP, oversee the plating process to ensure that the highest quality metal finish is obtained.

Extended service capabilities include plating on aluminum, grinding, polishing and restoration of metal on classic and antique show cars, motorcycles, boats, planes, and home interior items.

We are proud of our history and passionate about plating. It is our goal to achieve the highest quality durable finish for each customer that we serve. We understand how important it is to produce the finish desired for your particular project.

Our own 1958 Corvette restoration project which took three years to complete illustrates the level of know-how, commitment and expertise we possess in producing an award winning showroom finish on your part.

As members of the National Association of Metal Finishers (NAMF) and The American Electroplaters and Surface Finishers Society (AESF) our plating process remains up to date utilizing the best technology available in the industry.
